Dr Roberts is an AMAZING doctor. He is highly knowledgeable in his field. He is very thorough his assessments, gives excellent advice. He is also willing give children time before making any behavioural diagnosis. Thank you for taking such great care of my son.
It is without any hesitation that I recommend Dr David Roberts. He was recommended to me by a friend who told me that he was the only paediatrician who had "listened to her,' and as a result of this plus his own investigations, he was able to diagnose her son's condition when others hadn't. When my two year old daughter became very sick later that year, I sought his expertise despite the fact that I lived so far from his practice. He was beyond amazing. When my GP rang him, he told her that he would meet me at the St John of God after hours clinic in Subiaco so that I didn't have to travel. He saw my daughter at short notice that evening. He was extremely thorough and I appreciated his straight forward manner. He explained everything and kept me informed every step of the way while at the same time being so kind to both myself and my daughter. Dr Roberts saved my son's life. After seeing 4 GP's over 2 days with no satisfaction, Dr Roberts saw my very sick son and diagnosed Kawasaki Disease. My son was transferred to PMH for treatment but unfortunately they didn't agree with the diagnosis. Thankfully Dr Roberts believed in his diagnosis and kept in touch with me. It was with his support that finally PMH doctors realized my son did have this disease and he was finally treated for it on day 9 of being so incredibly ill. This was just in time. I have the upmost trust and belief in this dedicated doctor.
My son was nearly 2 at the time. He is now nearly 19.
