We are a family, general and cosmetic dental practice that has been caring for the dental health of Sydney's North Shore for over 30 years. The practice strives to provide quality treatment tailored to the individual needs of every family member and prides itself on the gentle and personalised way this care is delivered.
Opening hours:
The surgery is open Monday to Friday from 8am, as well as Saturdays from 9am and dental emergencies are seen daily. After hour appointments are currently available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (till 8pm). There is free parking available close by.

Dr David Young is a true gem. Before I met him at his Chatswood Surgery, I avoided the Dentist for many years due to massive anxiety after a traumatic childhood dentistry experience. I avoided any Dentist despite knowing my teeth needed some serious attention. I can say from my the depths of my heart, Dr Young is the kindest, most gentle and patient professional you could ever meet. I've been seeing him now for over 5 years, and every single time he treats me with the greatest care and patience as he knows how terrified I am of visiting the Dentist. Not only does he care about me, he has the highest level of experience and professionalism in the field of Denistry. Without hesitation I recommend this man and his lovely caring staff. Doctor Young is a thorough and thoughtful dentist. His professional and caring approach to problems is excellent, and I constantly recommend him to others without reservation.
Over 15 years ago, Dr Young enamelled my front teeth, diligently choosing a colour to match my other teeth. Today, they look as good as they did then.
The atmosphere created in his surgery by his staff is professional, yet relaxing and friendly.
If you are looking for one of the best in his profession, then Doctor Young is the man to see.
I've had quite a bit of work performed by Dr David Young and could not recommend him, his surgery and staff more highly. If you're a nervous customer like me, relax it will be fine. Before undergoing any major work I got a detailed plan and summary of costs so there were no surprises and it was very reasonably priced. The results I got are absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier.
Beware, this dental practice charges excessive fees for basic services, such as check up and normal cleaning. Will not go back again.
In response to patient HYQ, Dr David Young & Associates are more than happy for potential patients to compare our fees with other surgeries in the local area. It is always prudent to ask the cost of services before an appointment, regardless of what kind of appointment it is.
According to the ADA, There is no such thing as a recommended fee?? for any dental treatment. A dentist may charge what he or she thinks is appropriate for the service they provide, taking into account all their costs and the particular circumstances of each treatment.

David Young Dentists formally were at Artarmon. They have moved to larger premises. I have been visiting these Dentists for year. Highly recommended. The have Saturday appointments, close to parking, offer a standby list for appointments. Hicaps heath insurance can be claimed/paid on the spot. Really great, caring staff.
