Similar to other reviews, in my experience the manager is rude and aggressive to customers who are trying to shop there. It's like they don't want you to shop there. I won't be anymore. (Note all the other staff are lovely).

Another separate issue (also noted by another reviewer) is that listed prices aren't always correctly reflected on the till. If I take the time to check through the receipt I often find an item or few that were priced incorrectly.

It's a shame as there are nice things in the store, but I can't support a business that is rude/agressive to those shopping there.

The worst service. I went there to get some flowers for our restaurant staff. The server promise to wrap up for 5 (I did ask for 5 at the beginning) and the server said yes. I payed for it and they could not wrap up properly as staff lack of training but it was fine, I was patient. Then one of staff named MEGAN approached me, she was asking for server back and I need to go as she assume I'm not happy with the way they do it. They couldn't even wrap 1 up yet. MEGAN is extremely unprofessional, lack of attention, I offered to buy 10 papers to wrap up by myself at home but she only rolled them up and hand over to me not even tied them up. Did she even bring her brain to work??? MEGAN's customer service is extremely unsatisfied, disappointed and the worst ever!!!. only care to take money from customer. So sad to see all these unbelievable reviews, I am a regular customer who know the owners and knows the long hours and love that are put in.
Their prices are competitivly priced as possible for a small store, people overlook the fact that organic food is expensive, anyone that is a regular health food shopper will know prices are expensive everywhere, and yes maybe Coles and big stores may be cheaper but we vote with our dollar, so if I have to spend an extra dollar on an item to support small bussinesses then I'm happy to do that.
As for the being monitored that is a fair annoyance, however another fair annoyance is the amount of shop lifting that occurs and the damage it does to small bussinesses, this is not a large cooperation that people are so used to giving their money to, where they can afford to have theft. I LOVE shopping at Dr. Earth in Newtown. The selection of products is fantastic and the staff are helpful and knowledgable. I'm a regular in the shop and also at the cafe- they have the best coffee in Newtown and always make me feel welcome.

I love DR earth!! Such a lovely atmosphere, the new owners have really cleaned up the store and created a great team of staff who genuinely love working in the industry and are there for the customers benefit. They have a really great big range which is uncommon in health food stores.... Everything is packed in paper bags and they just set up the cutes cafe with soooo many vegan treats! So lovely to see a shop that cares about its customers and the environment <3
