Dr Lara Mangelli

I am a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years experience working with clients in private practice and not-for-profit sectors for short and long term therapy, providing counselling to a wide variety of clients from different cultural backgrounds.

I love working with clients of different ages, including children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual and couple counselling.

My belief is that each client is unique and important. For this reason, a treatment plan is tailored to each individual�s needs, issues and goals.
My role as a clinician is to provide a non-judgemental and safe environment in order to facilitate a therapeutic setting where the client will be able to explore repetitive negative thoughts, fears and concerns and learn helpful strategies to overcome the problems that are experienced.
I also assist the client by creating a sense of positive wellbeing through a holistic approach.
I am very committed to the values and ethics of my profession and strongly believe that the collaborative relationship in the therapeutic setting helps individuals to be in touch with their own strength and capabilities and promote positive changes.
