I practice ?Conservative and Cosmetic, Minimum Intervention Dentistry?.That is ? If I can get away with a white filling (or restoration as we call it) for a tooth and it gives a good long term success then that is always the way to go, unless there are further cosmetic requirements that should be considered. That means that generally I view crowns as the last resort, because I like to save as much tooth tissue as possible!
We like to get a 10/10 rating from our patients for sensitive and pain free dentistry, and our aim is to have you walk out from the surgery feeling more relaxed after your treatment than you would have felt possible! I can’t speak highly enough of Martin and his staff. As a person very anxious about dental work, I was amazed how painless 3 fillings and an extraction were. Finally... I have found a dentist who is thorough, professional and caring.
Totally recommend to anyone with a fear of dentists!
Martin looked after my teeth before I had to relocate to Sydney. My new Sydney dentist always comments on the excellent work that has been done to my teeth. She said she doesn't come across work that good very often. My teeth were in terrible condition before seeing Martin. The work he has done has lasted so well. Can't recommend him highly enough.
Dr Martin Jest is a fantastic family dentist. He and his staff are very personable with the whole family including the children. Martin is confident and competent in performing tricky procedures in the chair (e.g. extracting wisdom teeth). For my family this has resulted in lower costs and great outcomes. He was even able to extract my two year old's crushed tooth in the chair. She even enjoyed the experience! Now she is 3 and has just had her first check-up. She loves playing with the trains in the waiting room and watching the fish in the tank... just like Nemo!
I can't speak highly enough of Martin. Before seeing him I was afraid of the dentist. He is so gentle I've never felt any pain during my visits. I even got my wisdom teeth pulled put in the chair by him - and it was fine! If you're in search of a dentist I highly recommend Martin.
