Dr Maxwell Hardy

I am having twins and attended these rooms today. The sonographer who scanned me (Leanne) made the experience for my husband and I one we will always remember and treasure. She took the time to make sure we understood everything she was scanning and reassurred us that our babies were growing as they should. We left with not only wonderful pictures of our twins (3D just part of the service they provide) to remember our experience with this practice, but the knowledge that we had received exceptional treatment and care by everyone we came in contact with whilst there. We need to return for a scan later in our pregnancy and we would not consider attending any other clinic and have actually request Leanne again and this has been arranged without any fuss at all - Excellent ++++

5 stars does not do this practice justice. I have had 4 children now and I have gone to this practice for all of my pregnancy scans, so feel I am perhaps qualified to comment on them!! From the moment you walk in the door you feel comfortable with the care you know you will be given. The reception staff are friendly and always helpful and the female sonographers that scan you are extremely professional, but being Mum's themselves also have a very caring and nurturing manner and go to great lengths to explain in detail what is involved in the scan. Dr Hardy is there at hand to speak with you one on one should the need arise and he too has a wonderful bedside manner. Nothing is too much trouble for this very professional group of people. They are specialised in what they do and that is what you get.

I also called this office to say I'd be ten mins late due to an unexpected change in our morning routine and after arriving eleven mins late I was rushed into a room and spoken to like a small child for being late. When I explained I had called and apologised earlier she continued to lecture me about how I had pushed the day back (by a whole eleven mins!) I asked her to stop lecturing me twice to which she told me I was rude and continuously attempted to get the last word in. She then harped on that I should have made another appointment instead of being late which I thought was a bit over the top for a measly ten mins. It's not like it was half an hour! After being told at least twice more that I was in the wrong I had to raise my voice and ask what I was expected to do about it now the damage was done and she rudely said "You just shouldn't have been late."

After a very icy and abrupt 20wk scan I left $220 poorer and very upset.

My husband and I were so impressed with the expertise and professionalism shown to us when we attended Dr Hardy's for our recent scans. We first attended when I was 16 weeks pregnant and we were so pleased with the treatment we received by the sonographer that we requested that she perform our 20 week scan. We had complete confidence in her ability and felt very comfortable with her. She spent a lot of time explaining things to my husband and I and we were so pleased to have such complete professional care at such an important time in my pregnancy and we thoroughly appreciated the time and consideration given to us by all the staff at Dr Hardy's - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Will definatly go back to Dr Hardy's rooms if i have another child. My 12 week scan was amazing, Dr Hardy himself did it and i could not be happier with the scan, talked us through the whole thing! My 20 Week scan was also done by Dr. Hardy and again couldnt be happier. My 20 Week scan DVD didnt work, and i took it back. They re burnt it for me but again it didnt work. Instead of Turning me away and saying "Sorry your dvd doesnt work we will refund you the money etc" They Told me to come back on a weekend and have a free scan, which i did with another sonographer. She was even better then Dr. Hardy :-) Scan was double the length of my previous scans got triple the amount of printed photos and she talked us through absolutly everything. No only are the sonographers lovely, so are the reception staff. I seriously dont have one bad thing to say about the staff, or services that are provided! Will be back one day!
