Dr Michael Clarke

I have found Dr Clarke to be a mental health professional (psychiatrist) who I have found easy to talk to and is available for me when I need him.

I have taken back control of my illness with his help, that is, his treatment plan works. The proof is that I can now manage the symptoms and have returned to work.

The best thing is Dr Clarke makes sure that I do not over-estimate risks in situations and under-estimate my coping resources.

I have learnt a lot about my overall physical and mental wellbeing because Dr Clarke has a good patient-doctor relationship with me. We can talk about how well the medication works and how I am thinking and feeling.

I don't feel I am doing all the work in my sessions. I know when he is ready to listen because because he pushes his chair back from the desk after he has finished taking his notes.
