Dr Greenbaum is an inadequate psychiatrist; he retains no information regarding to repeat patients, has forced me to delve into trauma whilst I have audibly told him i am not ready to re-visit these in appointments specifically aimed towards my ADHD. He de-values trauma, reveals information about previous patients and seems to lack the professionalism i expect from a professional that i am paying hundreds of dollars to see.
I saw this doctor twice, the first 1 hr appointment was fine, except he kept nodding off after he asked me any questions and then constantly asking me to repeat myself as his eyes rolled back into his head.
On the second 30 min appointment he told me that he had lost the notes from my first appointment, so we spent the whole time going through everything again, but in half the time, & I still had to pay full price for the appointment.
He then promised to mail me a presctiption refill that week but never did, and when I called to ask about it I was told he had gone on holidays for the next month and I had to wait until he got back before I could get my prescription.
I would not recommend him to anyone, and I have called the Melbourne Clinic as they recommended him to me, to recommend they do not give his name out again.
I will not be going back.
This man was my psychiatrist for six years. He used to see me about every six weeks. The consultations generally lasted five to ten minutes. My accounts were being paid by workcover. Inadvertently his secretary sent an account to me. He was charging workcover $185 a time, and doing me no good, just feeding me pills. He had no idea of my case. He would always ask me how my garden was going, and how's the drinking? During the six years in which I was his patient, I hated gardening, in fact I didn't mow my lawn for three years and did not touch alcohol. I "dobbed" him in to workcover. I am amazed that he is still practising!
