Dr Miljkovic-Petkovic Ljiljana

I was recommended to Ljilana by my sister and Im so glad she did.
Ljilana was fabulous from my 6 week appointment up until the birth. I always left the appointments feeling well informed and positive about what stage I was in with my pregnancy. I spent the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy in hospital, and with my husband working FIFO and away for a month at a time things can get a little stressful. The support I received from Ljilana and the amazing women at the Private Hospital was above and beyond the call of duty. Ljliana made me feel comfortable and safe. I know the word 'safe' may seem odd but thats how I felt in her care. I felt like i was still in control even though things had been taken out of my hands. Im very thankful for the whole experience I had with Ljliana and I've recommended her to several expecting mums to be.

Ljiljana was recommended to me by a work colleague. I, in turn have recommended her to many of my girlfriends. Ljiljana was my OB/GYN for my 3 pregnancies (two births and one miscarriage). At all times I found her to be the ultimate professional but more importantly caring, considerate, very experienced and such a lovely natured woman. My husband was also in awe of her skills when during slight complications in the delivery suite, Ljiljana handled everything with calm and grace and safely delivered our two sons. From answering all my new-mum-to-be concerns, to including my husband in the whole process and ensuring we were comfortable every step of the way, I cannot recommend her enough. We always agreed that even if we moved away from Newcastle, if we ever had more babies, we would return to Ljiljana's care. She was that good to us!

We have had an amazing experience with Ljiljana. She was very easy to talk to and had a great sense of humour. She answered all of our questions and made us feel very confident that she would take great care of us. It was also wonderful that she included my hubby in the process from appointments, through to the birth and post care. I ended up having to have 2 emergency C-sections with both my bubs and Ljiljana was incredible. She explained everything and assured us that both my bubs and I were going to be ok. Her post care has also been wonderful. She saw me everyday that I was in the hospital with both bubs and provided some much needed advice in relation to the issues I encountered with breastfeeding. I could not recommend Ljiljana highly enough. We are actually going to miss not seeing her.

We had a fantastic experience with Ljiljana. She was very personable and attentive. She has a great sense of humour and was great at putting your mind at ease when you had any questions or concerns. I was prone to a recurring pre-pregnancy condition, and Ljiljana made sure I had extra tests done before each visit to keep an eye on things. She was especially great during my delivery as my baby's cord was wrapped around her neck. Ljiljana was calm and quick to react as extra skill was needed to quickly get my baby out. You could tell the midwives and other hospital staff respected her and she also respected them. From what I remember during my delivery, she was very clear and professional in her requests with the midwives and she was encouraging towards me. I would not recommend this obstetrician. I had a bad experience with her.
