Dr Selwyn Kessler is a truly outstanding dental professional. His endodontic skill is second to none and his manner and care towards patients is exemplary. His assistant - Hannah - is brilliant and so helpful. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dr Kessler to anyone requiring highly specialised work such as root canal therapy.

If you need to have a root canal, you need to see Dr. Kessler, that's all there is to it. I have to say, as someone who has never liked going to the dentist office, the first thing I did when I left the office was to come and write this review. Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to me. I always had excellent teeth, all the way up until I lost my health insurance through a layoff. For a few years I did my best with my teeth, but to be honest I had more pressing issues that needed my attention. By the time I had dental insurance again, I had already been dealing with some pain on the right side of my mouth. One day, in the middle of the night, I woke up with excruciating pain. Let's face it - the only thing worse than cracking a tooth is getting it fixed, right? Not at Dr. Kessler's practice. I'm normally squeamish even at my regular dentist, so the thought of a trip to the endodontist was, to put it mildly, terrifying. I haven't had much experience with anything other than routine dental work - cleanings, basic cavity repair and such, so when I cracked a tooth this past winter, I was totally beside myself, to say the least. My dentist referred me to Dr. Kessler, so I called and made an appointment. My dentist must not be the only one who thinks highly of Dr. Kessler, because it seems like his schedule stays pretty full; however, he managed to squeeze me in on rather short notice, which I really appreciated, given that I was pretty uncomfortable at the time. While I can't say that having my tooth repaired was a fun or pleasurable experience per se, I feel 100 percent confident that the care that I received at Dr. Kessler's clinic was the best there is. Like most people, I have never really enjoyed going to the dentist. I have had some negative experiences with dental professionals in the past, so I was scared last year when I found out that I needed dental surgery to remove my impacted wisdom teeth.

All four of my wisdom teeth were impacted, and my dentist recommended that I seek treatment with Dr. Kessler. I had never been to an endodontist before, so I did not really know what to expect.
