Dr Sophie Reid: Clinical Child, Family, and Adult Psychologist, Eastern Suburbs Sydney.I am a clinical psychologist in the Eastern Suburbs with 15 years experience, a Masters of Clinical Psychology and PhD in child and adolescent mental health. I am also a parent - the best training ground for understanding families, relationships and the day to day challenges of caring for the most important people in your life. I am an Expert Working Committee member for beyondblue, worked at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne for 8 years, and the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre.

Sophie has helped me immensely in dealing with a difficult relationship and subsequently a painful divorce. Her 'making sense of it' approach has improved my understanding of healthy relationships, as well as understanding myself, which has increased my confidence and self esteem. Just as importantly, she has provided excellent guidance on how to help my young children deal with the significant changes that separations involve.
