Dr Thu Mai is a local Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Infertility and IVF.

Obstetrics:
High and low risks Obstetrics care
*Private Obstetrics care - delivery at St Vincent's Private Hospital and Epworth Freemason Hospital
*Shared-care - for un-insured patients. Private Obstetrics antenatal care in collaboration with public hospitals.

Gynaecology:
Recurrent Miscarriages, Menstrual Disorders, Menopausal Problems, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Urinary Incontinence, Fibroids, Endometriosis, Chronic Pelvic Pain, Abnormal Papsmears and Colposcopy. Services provided: Contraceptive advice and procedures such as insertion of IUD, Mirena, Implanon, Tubal sterilization/ligation.

Infertility:
Infertility (male and female factors), Ovulation Induction, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome,

A range of open general Obstetrics and Gynaecology surgeries are offered as well as diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy and hysterectomy. Special packages available for un-insured patients to have surgery in private hospitals.

Dr Mai completed her Medical degree at Monash University. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women and Sunshine hospital, in Melbourne. She undertook further training in Infertility at the Mercy Hospital for Women, and Infertility and IVF with Monash IVF. She also worked and trained at the Melbourne Assisted Conception Centre (MACC).
