Super busy restaurant and a great turn-over of customers. The food is absolutely delicious. On the pricey side, however the meals are freshly cooked with the right amount of spice and balance of ingredients. The service is very efficient and friendly. Décor and ambiance is great. Highly recommend their Lychee Cider.
Very overpriced for yum cha. Dragon Boat, located in the heart of China Town Melbourne, is one known and popular for yum cha. I remember many years back it was really good and decent price but recently we came in to find it was way overpriced and quality of the yum cha dishes were not how i remembered it, pretty bad actually. We waited a fair bit to be seated as it was footy weekend finals. Hoping to be setaed where the trolley would keep running through but unfortunately we were seated in the back corner. The amount of time the same trolley that came pass was way more than a popular trolley that didnt even make it or reach the corner. Ther service is ok but the food and quality, i have had better and not sure i will be back to Dragon Boat anytime soon. Very disappointed.
Don't go to this place. And do not buy any seafood dishes from them. They don't tell you the seasonal seafood price upfront, and when you ask them the weight of the seafood (they normally charged based on per pond) the staff there are not being upfront and impatient. The service was poor, and they charge people service fee without telling you! And when it comes to payment, they just put whatever weight on the food. The food was only OK but expensive, you can certainly find much better and cheaper Chinese food all around the city area. Don't go!
