Dragonboat Chinese Restaurant must have one of the best locations around. Situated on the second level of the Harbourside Shopping Centre, if you get one of the prized seats on the balcony, you can enjoy the panoramic views of Darling Harbour, the Sydney Skyline as well as fireworks on weekends. This restaurant overlooks the harbour. If you get an outdoor seat, the view of the evening fireworks would be great.
The food however has much to be desired. I eat a lot of Chinese food, and many different styles and regions. But the food here is very bland, and way overpriced.
Better to go and find a small restaurant in Chinatown for better food at half the price.

My opinion: Go in the mood if you want a spiffy ambience with nice Darling Harbour views and crispy duck Chinese dishes.
I came to this restaurant on Saturday night as it looked very well presented. It is a great locaion for a restaurant looking out the harbour. However the food was very very below par ( and i go to a lot of chinese restaurants)
we ordered a mixed entree and when it came out some were slightly warm but some i.e the spring rolls were cold and the funny thing was that they ...read more
