Dragon Express

So BAD. NEVER NEVER AGAIN. Thought it would be good after reading google review, tried fried rice first, tasteless and have no word to describe it. But didn't learn lesson, tried again after a few weeks. This time, stayed away from rice and ordered two take away dishes (port and beef). Got two boxes with a few pieces of meats mixed and boiled together with veges, one was supposed to be curry. The way the cook curry is putting large amount of turmeric powder, ended with throwing both disgusting dishes right away and went out again for pizza. NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

after seeing reviews about this place i was eager to try the food and everywhere else in between is lacking in a good quality Chinese delivery. well to say i was dissapointed was an understatement. you all need a trip to sydney to see what real chinese food tastes like. for starters fried rice should actually entail being fried not boiled rice with vegetables as so many of the chinese places offer here. the curried chicken what can i say about this it was citrus flavoured and lacking in any kind of creamy sauce that you find throughout sydney. the chicken that looks like you took a bunch of drumsticks of their meat and that's all, not a single nice piece of chicken to be found. the cashew chicken my partner ordered was slimy like and flavourless. the beef and veg well to say the steak was good quality was a plus but in a row of minuses is not good when the sauce resembles cornflour and water in both the beef and veg as well as the cashew chicken. found a piece of raw ...read more

Ordered take away and they arrived in less then 15 minutes. I was very satisfied. Not only was their timing but the chicken I ordered was spot on cooked to perfection. The kind man even added free additions to my order. Yay, free food. Awesome. Friendly staff too. :)

So I haven't eaten in so I can only vouch for the food, as take away has been my only ever foray into Dragon Express, but impressed I was. A standard menu greets you but is complemented by some great additions, with some Malaysian offerings thrown in the mix. The take away arrived promptly & was hot & tasty - what more do you want? Wait for my next review which I'll deliver after eating in!
