Driftwood on the Bay
After the morning surf in the area, ventured down to Driftwood by the bay, great spot at La Perouse. Tables out the front are good to take in this view of the beautiful botany bay. Inside is a warm feeling, relaxed atmosphere. The owner was there, a lovely guy who was very friendly and hospitable and we had a good old chat. He’s been running it for a couple of years now.
They make a good coffee using all press coffee.

After a lovely morning snorkeling myself and a couple of friends decided to go for Brunch. I had an Iced Chi Latte it was probably the best I ever had it was more like a milkshake it was exactly what I wanted. I also had the buttermilk pancakes with nutella. They were light and fluffy with loads of chocolate spread.
my Friend had the mexican brekkie which I have added a pic. I had a taste of it and it was yummy too and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly.
The cafe has lots of seats and the staff were really friendly. They were clever enough to take our order individually put place it all at the same time and then let us split the bill with no hassles. If I am back in this area I would be looking to come back here again.
