Our vision is to create a world where mental illness has meaning. Our mission is to promote an individual?s personal growth through the recovery from their mental illness. Too many people continue to suffer from shame and stigma for their mental illness. Their recovery should be a journey of self discovery as they grow as a person whilst permanent changes are made to their brain. Towards this vision and mission, our approach will always strive to uphold our core values of kindness, respect, trust and integrity.

Dr Simon Morris has an interest in the treatment of complex and longstanding mental health disorders. He has worked in the public and private mental health sectors, and now is the Director of DSM Psychology. He is experienced in the treatment of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia and binge-eating disorder) and other disorders such as PTSD, recurrent depression, treatment-resistant anxiety and personality disorders. He enjoys working a multidisciplinary environment, working closely with medical specialists including psychiatrists, endocrinologists and bariatric surgeons.

Simon is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (MCCLP).
