we went here for tea tonight......i found 1 of the staff a bit rude even tho they got my drink order wrong.The meal was ok we had looked this place up on the internet before we went and the menu they displayed was very different to what they actually had to offer not only on what we were able to have as well as a big difference in the prices advertised.As the meal was ok i don't think i would recommend it to my family and friends and im as sure we wont be back......and i know its not their fault but all the screaming kids running around was also very disappointing.
This pub has the best kids play area.
its good for family's as long as you don't expect quality food.
Steaks were chewy and other items were bland and tasteless.
Service was a bit disorganized but friendly.
Sorry dont agree with you, kids play area is great, a lot of time and money put into it. I have found the meals over the years great, the service excellent, sthe staff friendly effecient and curtious at all times, no wonder they have won the Best Beer and Beef 5 out of 7 times. We have been using the overlander regularly for years now as it is one of the few places with a kidâ??s playground thatâ??s not junk food take away. The food has improved a lot since my last review and I would now rate some of the dishes as excellent. Although the playground is a great feature, beware its not safe for toddlers or designed as well as a maccas playground, our 2 year old fell over 2 meters from the slide even though we were supervising. Luckily, no injuriesâ??s this time, but keep a close watch on your little ones as there are large unprotected drops.
