Dundees Restaurant is beautifully located on the waterfront along the Marina and it is quite a big restaurant in itself, with both indoor, outdoor undercover and outdoor dining along the pier. We dined here as a package after The Cairns Sunset Cruise and we did not feel at all separated/categorized from rest of the diners. The service was top-notch, staffs were attentive and quick, everything ran smoothly and the food was excellent. I ordered the Eye-fillet steak and I still remember how perfectly cooked and flavoured it was. Had a taste of the wild barramundi my partner ordered and it was so flavorsome. It was such a delight going there, we were very impressed. Dundees Restaurant is definitely a place to remember and definitely a place to go.
We have lunch here regularly and dinner occasionally and have NEVER found the menu bland! We take international visitors here for a taste of Australia and believe the evening meal presentations are the best in Cairns. Great location, great service and locally owned and operated. I love it.
