Dutch Poffertjes
Mini Dutch PancakesPoffertjes are a small pancake, much sweeter than your normal pancake and are mixed with water rather than milk. Traditionally the Dutch only use butter and icing sugar as their topping, but we have expanded this to more Australian versions with many healthier options such as, banana, blueberry, apple, as well as maple syrup, chocolate, lemon butter, caramel and fresh lemons for a wider selection.
The Dutch Poffertjes mobile food operation was started by John McAuliffe some 6 years ago as a small mobile operation servicing shows and festivals along the North Coast of New South Wales and Southern Queensland. Before long he outgrew his small trailer operation and now travells with a 5 meter purpose built proffesional trailer servicing larger events.
