A dyslexic child frequently experiences a sense of failure. They cannot understand why they find it so hard to do the work that others find easy. They feel the hurt and embarrassment of being considered "stupid" or "slow." This leads to lack of confidence that they carry to adulthood.

By the time someone with dyslexia has reached adulthood he/she has endured numerous failures. Learning difficulties may not have been correctly diagnosed or adequately understood. Usually he/she is subjected to a significant degree of self-doubt, embarrassment, confusion, anger and a lack of confidence. There are often certain tasks at work that they are finding extremely difficult or failing at.

A dyslexia assessment will identify the problems and provide suggestions to allow you to reach your potential at school, at home and in the workplace.

The assessment will cover a wide range of areas and will be appropriate for people with general learning difficulties, ADD/ADHD, etc. We can discuss your needs when we meet.

Pre-assessment questionnaire
Initial consultation to discuss background and difficulties
Full diagnostic learning assessment
Comprehensive written report with recommendations for home/school/college/work
Additional recommendations supplied for a private tutor/the school/college and/or employer (if required, at no extra cost)
Verbal consultation to discuss findings and allow you time to ask questions
