Dedicated to helping anyone with reading, spelling and writing difficultiesThe Dyslexia Support & Learning Centre is dedicated to helping anyone with literacy difficulties, specialising in Dyslexia and those with special needs.
The centre uses a number of strategies but primarily utilises the Indirect Dyslexia Learning (IDL) softwareâ?? with proven success. IDL is an effective, multi-sensory support for reading and spelling difficulties, which is now used in over 430 UK schools and 50 centres.
Students on the program:
1. Have average improvement of 11 months in spelling age after only 26 hours on the programme
2. Learn to touch type and develop their reading skills
3. Improve in self-confidence, self-esteem and behaviour
The centre receives referrals from speech therapists and feedback from many of our customers is that IDL succeeds where other methods fail.
