Set in the mountains of Vacy this resort is simple and perfect for large groups and families. The accommodation is basic and there are not many staff. Facilities are good for children with a dam and little jetty where you can fish for yabbies, a children's playground, outdoor fitness area and lots of bush tracks.
Wallabies are everywhere and the kids seem to love them!
The restaurant is a bit strange though, even if it is empty, you still need to 'book' at reception. Our wait staff made us wait 20mins outside because wait staff needed to set up our table of 8... wait staff seemed frazzled... And we were not allowed to wait indoors even though it was cold... wait staff insisted we should have booked... The place have no more than 8 customers during the time we were there... Strange but true!
