Earl's is alright.

I went on a date here once. Twas ok. Drinks are good, but pricey. It's pretty typically hipster.

Big ups on the music and cool posters though.

Best vantage spot is when you sit at the bar. Always a great cocktail menu and great before a gig at the Enmore.

Look for the bouncer outside the butcher. Why is there a bouncher outside the butcher? You've found Earl's juke joint. Attractive interior, bar staff who know their stuff, tasty drinks and lots of nice little tables and benches. No wonder it draws a sizeable Newtown crowd.

One of my favourite bars. Nice low lighting, a loooooong bar, dark wook, art deco-ish vibe. It has a masculine feel to it. The bar staff are lovely and make an amazing cocktail. The espresso martini is killer!

Very cool little bar (don't be put off by the fact that it looks like a butchers from the outside!). Good menu options including some unusual sounding cocktails. We sat at the bar and watched the staff mix the cocktails. Great atmosphere and the staff were really nice too.
