This used to be the best fish & chip shop in the area. Sadly not any more. Since new management took over (around 18 months ago) the quality has gone steadily down hill. The flake portions used to be thick & moist with the crunchiest, lightest batter I've ever tasted. The 2 portions I received tonight were anything but, in fact I have eaten fatter potato cakes. I have been a loyal customer for 7 years but will now be going elsewhere.
