The seven-day-a-week breakfast keeps going until mid-afternoon so few people actually miss out on the scramble for their eggs benedict or bacon and egg focaccia. East Terrace Continental a is contemporary cafe with good food, good coffee and very flexible behaviour during the week. Popular for week-day breakfasts and early-morning meetings, and there's a balcony upstairs for small functions and extra privacy. An eclectic lunch menu demands little in the way of money or sophistication yet provides much satisfaction.

A quick catch up with colleagues meant that we all ended up here, as it is a pretty decent location with plenty of parking, albeit sometimes hard to find, around the area. I have been here many times before for breakfasts, it is always been very good. This time was no exception. Everything was fresh and tasty. The only criticism I have, is that it gets quite noisy when busy, but in a way, that is also a good thing, because it means it is a well-respected food venue.
after not being here for a year and seeing the new revitalized menu, i came during the week and it was chilled and flowing with a great coffee.
i came on the Saturday and the atmosphere was buzzing, service was prompt as you can expect in a good cafe and the food was spot on. considering the amount of people that were in here they did a great job.
what a great looking place
If you would like to wait a long time then told they did not put your order through, come to this place. I have waited for 50 mins to have a pumpkin focaccia. The cafe was not crowed and I was told they forgot to put order through. I did not even get an apology. I had to wait another 15 mins to get my food. The roast pumpkin inside was ice cold. I definitely will not go back again.
