The old adage is true in this case: you get what you pay for. If you & a mate want to hang out & head to the MCG for the footy and come back happy or disappointed after cheering your guts out then this place is fine - about a 15 min walk. But I wouldn't head here for that romantic weekend away with someone special...
Average sized room with a bath but not necessarily a plug to fit it (shower is ok), basic kitchen facilities, front office is staffed but not by someone who can help more than to check you in (& change your room number if your room's electricity dies - but not help you move things to the new room), food places are a 5 or so min walk away. There is a 'cafe' onsite but not after hours.
There's other places nearby that might give a better experience - but this one was the cheapest when I booked, still, average for the price.
