Tonight I took a huge risk and took my 4 young children aged 2 though to 8yrs old for pho at Eat Fu, I mean 2 year old twins and boiling hot soup what could possibly go wrong right!? But I am so glad that I went because the staff at Eat Fu took such good care us! We were meeting Elizabeth and her staff for the first time but she made us feel like family. Elizabeth even we so far as to cut up my childrens noodles to make it easier for them to eat their Pho. Seriously lovely! A risk that could have gone either way went wonderfully and the pho was delicious! Yummy thank you so much.
Eat Fuh is so good it is my Wednesday night dinner spot. It is run by fabulous staff who make it their mission to ensure all customers feel happy and relaxed when ever they come to dine in their restaurant. The business has been running for some time throughout local markets however has now made a permanent location in Marrickville. Passers by on the street are drawn in by the amazing open kitchen you can seeing working from the street and can't go by the amount of people willing to wait in line just to eat here. The menu is simple, but that just makes it better, the chef's can focus on fewer items and ensure they are the best they can be. Can't go past the Chicken Noodle salad with an added Spring Roll, or the Chicken Pho, if your looking for something a little more heartier try the Beef Stew!
Missed the food truck I planned on visiting on Friday and worked up the ultimate appetite walking from Auburn station to Lidcombe station! Thank god for my lift who picked me up and took me to his favorite Vietnamese place in Marrickville! It really is impressive. Thee steamed pork prawn dumplings I've never had before. They were a glutenose stick rice kind of dumpling wrapped in banana leaf. Thee rice paper rolls had a generous amount of beef which I've usually had at other places with too much noodles in them – loved these ones here. But the Pho – or “Fuh” as they call it on their menu is amazing. The broth is rich in flavor and again, the portion of beef in this bowl is substationtial! Best meal in a long time!
The mentions of Eat Fuh have been grazing my social media timeline for quite some time, and so one Sunday evening I finally decided to pay this place a visit. Located at the main area of Marrickville and only a short distance away from the train station, this place occupies the standard-size shop but furnishes the place with modern, up-to-date fit-outs and decor which makes the place Instagram material.
With kitchen being open-plan style in the middle of the store, the shop has plenty of seats on both its lower and upper level area as well as on the small aisle on the ...read more
