EB Games

I wanted to buy my friend a spacific board game for Christmas, I was at strathpine and stores were about to close, so I quickly went to EB/Zing, to see how much they were selling it for, as I'd allocated $80 for her. I was gobsmacked when I saw it was $108!
I remembered they price match so quickly googled to see other stores prices & saw its $50-$60 elsewhere, cheapest physical store was $60. So I asked the staff if they'd price match & they said, oh, um, depends. The guy then double checked the price of the game because even he couldn't believe it was $108.
When I showed him the $60 price, the other guy said, "well that is just down the road" meaning I could just go buy it there if they didn't match it.
The first guy then tried to explain that the $60 shop was out of stock so I couldn't buy it from them anyway, as the page said 'out of stock online' that ...read more

I know the staff here very well as I used to work in the center. The manager is a genuinely nice guy who will give you honest advice on games (which is rare). As with any EB, expect to pay top dollar for games unless they have a sale. Can get a bit cramped in the store as it is popular
