e'cco
Wooden chairs and no tablecloths set a surprisingly relaxed tone for an eatery of such quality. Chef Philip Johnston’s bistro has delivered wonderful food for 15 years, combining a modern Australian menu with inspiration from the Mediterranean. For starters, try the field mushrooms on olive toast, a signature dish. The mains will set you back more than $40. E’cco has one of the best wine lists in the city and even allows diners to bring their own.
E'cco remains as my favourite restaurant in Brisbane.
Although a tad pricey, they completely live up to the expectations. The food is impeccable, the service delightful and the portion sizes often lacking remain to be more than substantial.
I struggle to find a bad word to say about this place - they even went the extra mile for some of my elderly family members assisting them into their seats.
whether it be anniversary's, a birthday or a Thursday E'cco simply cannot be looked over as one of Brisbane's most delightful places.
