Echuca Moama RSL & Citizens Club Ltd

Popped in here on a recent Echuca holiday as we wanted to try a different venue and I had remembered the meals here were decent when I went a few years back.
The first let down was that the courtesy bus tooks ages to pick us up and then when we were nearly at the venue he got a radio to pick up more people in town and then proceeded to turn back and get them rather than just drop us first and go! It ended up being nearly an hour between leaving our motel in Echuca and getting to the RSL.
Once there the whole place had a general bad vibe, staff looked grumpy and no one was bothering to speak to patrons that were getting unruly or hogging more than one pokie machine at a time.
Were going to stay for a meal but the bistro was packed and the ladies toilets were absolutely filthy. We left then and there and won't be back as we know other venues in town that uphold higher standards on service.

This RSL is huge. Although I don't typically like big places like this with pokies, it is the pick of similar establishments in the area. We often go here while on holidays in Moama and find that while it is always busy, the wait is never too long and the food is O.K. considering the huge amount of meals to go out. The kids' playground is a bonus (if you have children).
