disgruntled again
For the second time in three weeks I have had work done at Eclipse. Despite telling me they would let me know what needed to be done, the first bill was $2100 and the second was $648. On questioning them, they were extremely rude to my wife they refused to apologise. Customer service is obviously not included in their service of vehicles. Never going back and would advise others to steer clear.
Firstly, I was not rude. We aim to please our clients and with a moto of "Driven By Service" we take our customer service very seriously. You and your wife acted very badly and were abusive towards me. The first time you came to us you where given an estimate over the phone. The vehicle was repaired, a RWC issued and you where happy. 15 days later, your starter motor failed (nothing to do with the previous work done). You called me at 4pm on Thurs, I asked if you were in the RACV, you replied no, and I said I would arrange a tow truck. Tilt truck from St.Albans to Airport West, brand new starter motor and 1 hour labour (free wash included) and vehicle ready by Fri @ 5pm. Then the problem started. I neglected to tell you there would be a charge for the tow ($120) but this is not a free service to us. During our discussion I offered to remove the tow charge but your wife was still not happy. I wish you luck with your new mechanic.
Your comment towards my wife was deemed too offensive to list on true local. I rest my case.
I noted that they did not include some things that I posted about our discussion. Again, good luck dealing with your new mechanic and I hope you find a service as responsive as we are. If you are not happy with our service, I doubt you will find satisfaction easliy.

We are sorry you feel that is what happened. There was obviously a different story going on with your vehicle. We tried to work with you even though the story we were told did not add up. There was no complaint made and you did receive a RWC when the work was completed.
Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Fantastic vehicle service provided being cost effective and excellent advice. The workshop is clean and the advice given is in the best interests of the customer. I have had my car serviced there for some time and have never had an issue.
They are also close to the airport, (Tullamarine), so its an ideal place to get your car serviced while either working at the airport or flying interstate.
Any work that is required outside of what was agreed is discussed with you and advice given as to cost and what is required to fix it. If it cant be done there, you are told that this is the case.
Huge pleasure to find a service center that remembers that customer service is important, and the costs are reasonable.
