There was no skill in preparing the breakfast we received at Eden Cafe - baked beans right from the can, a hash brown from a box, a toasted slice of cheap white bread, and spinach, mushroom and tomato fried without the addition of any herbs or spices, washed down by an incredibly watery glass of "fresh squeezed oj".
It was one of those meals where you are left disappointed, realising that you could have thrown something similar (or much better) together at home, with your eyes closed.
The decor is nice, and hints at a fresh, healthy venue, but the menu does not match.
