Edendale Farm & Community Environment Centre

A lovely farm in beautiful Eltham. Lots of chickens and a few other animals such as goats, sheep, guinea pigs, etc. Ideal for an outing with babies and young children, who will also enjoy the metro train going past and the sandpit. There's also Café Eden which is an outdoor cafe with a small but decent selection of food and drinks, otherwise bring your own picnic as there's plenty of grassy areas. There's also an indigenous nursery, school holiday activities and a couple of yearly events. There is no entry fee but there are donation boxes so at least put a few coins in if you enjoy your time there.
