Very poor customer service. The management quoted me for a job I specifically requested to be performed in a certain way. Upon my return, they had not addressed this issue at all, then said it could be completed for an additional $10. I continued to explain that this was not what I had asked for. I told them that I would not have had my shoes worked on by them if I had have known that it would cost so much (the original quote was expensive as it was). In the end I said I would like to take them elsewhere and they removed the rubber sole they had put on the front of the shoe, leaving the sole of the shoe distressed to the point where they cannot be worn now.
Needless to say I will not be returning.
I have dropped in here a number of times to get a shoe fixed, a watch fixed or a key cut.
The service is quick and really reasonably priced.
Getting shoes re-soled can make them last a year or two longer and prevent you from slipping over on wet surfaces. Edgecliff shoe repair resoled my shoes recently and did a great job.
I have also had a watch band fixed and a key cut. Both of which were done in record time!!
Recently, I noticed that my work shoes were looking a little bit worse for wear so I stopped in to pick up some shoe polish. The man behind the counter recommended a great new product which I had never seen before! My shoes look a million times better now!
The man who works here (and owns the business I suspect) is older and just oozes signs of experience! One of those fantastically skilled men who really can solve alot of problems. Get your problems solved on your way home from the train station!
