Took two loads of laundry to be done to Edgecliff Station Laundry. I asked for the baby clothing and sleeping bags not to be tumble dried and said if they did not have drying rack facilities I would take these back to my hotel wet and dry them myself. The two Asian owners told me they were professionals and they did not tumble dry items that shouldn't be. I should also add the tags on the items also said do not tumble dry. Upon unpacking the clothes at home they had been tumble dried and had shrunk between 2 and 6 centremetres. For anyone who has a baby you know this means at least one size so of course the items no longer fit. The total retail value of the destroyed items is over $600 (Purebaby, Ergobaby, Marquise etc). Took the items back to them along with other clothing from the exact same brands in the same size to show them the shrinkage and was told "all clothes shrink when you wash them" and "we do not refund" and "there is no problem."
