Irrepressible, ever laughing, talented winemaker owner Matt Rechner is almost always on hand answering questions, offering advice and fussing over his visitors. His many achievements include a trophy for Australia's Best Shiraz.
This cellar door only offers tastings of Matt's excellent hand crafted wines but adds tastings of sensational handmade beers including his highly sought after Ekhidna Ginger Beer.
Completing the taste experience is the Ekidna kitchen with Talented chef Nathan Carr, turning out beautiful Tapas and a la carte meals. Ekhidna Kitchen has an enviable high reputation amongst locals which is a sure sign of consistent quality offering.

Seperb atmosphere and setting amongst the vines, staff and owners provide guests with a warm friendly and enjoyable experience.
The resturant serves excellent food and they have their own varous cold brews on tap at the bar including Cider and Ginger beer.
Their wines need to be tasted, what a great experience, we will be back.
The owners keep me coming back - they are always so friendly and welcoming. Their beers are fantastic and their wines are good too. The platters are great for something to pick at with a glass of wine but the meals are excellent. I had a steak that melted in my mouth.
