I found the Electric Express phone number on a fridge magnet. The young guy spent around 20 minutes checking power sockets, but couldn’t find the fault. He snipped one of sockets and said that that whole part of the house would need to be re-wired. The privelage for the callout was $270! I think it’s better to be upfront about extortionate costs before starting any work! The quote for rewiring 8 sockets was over $3700. No thanks.
Excellent professional service. Steve and the guys finished a big job at my house within a day and I hardly knew they were there. Professional, polite and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Electric Express to anyone and would certanly use them again. Steve came out after the job and went out of his way to fix a minor snag within a couple of days, no hassle. Thanks Steve, Konrad and Max, great job.

We recently hired these guys to put some new data ports in for us upstairs, as we only had one downstairs in our studio.

Thanks for your response Julie, but as I expect you are aware, I raised and discussed this matter with Max and Steve, on a number of occasions, prior to writing my review. I have been very clear with what I expect (Electric Express to provide a refund for the unnecessary work that was not quoted and to repair the damage Max has done to our property) but you have not responded to this request or offered any form of reconciliation. I recall Steve's parting words, when I said I would take the matter up with Fair Trading, were 'good on you mate'.
If you genuinely would like to try to reconcile the situation, you have my contact details. Please give me a call as we're keen to find a mutually acceptable path forwards.
If not, I have no interest in wasting any more time or energy with your company.
