Though likely outsourced, their shameless telemarketers rang me 11 times in the span of 12 hours... while I was overseas. Aside from costing me over $80 for international diversion -- even after asking to STOP -- they kept calling. Atrocious! My next call and complaint is to Fair Trading, the ADMA (I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry already)... Keep it up after that Electricity Wizard? I'm calling a friendly consumer focused judge.
I am most unhappy with Electricity Wizard, they are most unpleasant to deal with. They offer comparison services for electricity providers. You MUST leave a phone number and email address when doing a comparison. I did a comparison for my son who is buying a house. It hasn't even gone unconditional,yet, but getting in early. So today Electricity Wizzard called back the number I left (no choice). Told him we are not interested yet, that we were no longer interested in his services, as I was just checking around online. He was most annoyed and said not to leave our number until we are actually interested. I told him I didn't have a choice. His tone was most dismissive and made me feel very bad. If I don't want to follow through, I have every right to, as I didn't agree to anything but to compare energy prices.
