Sloppy work.
Had our carpets cleaned yesterday. Returned home to find a very sloppy vacuuming job and shadows of marks which questions their promise of difficult stain removal experts. We had to vacuum the carpets ourselves before moving the furniture back in. I suggest being there when the job is done and don't sign the satisfaction guarantee until you have had a walk around.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !
Carpets stunk after their deodoriser wore off , had them cleaned on a Friday and on Monday smell was so bad I had to arrange another company to re clean in time for a house inspection . The second company were appalled by how dirty the carpets were after Electrodry cleaning them just 2 days before . Spoke with Electrodry to organise a refund who were not helpful in any way , fobbed me off every call and then offered me $14 off my next clean . Got consumer affairs involved and still would not refund money for dodgy work . The managers for Adelaide branch have no customer service skills and basically said too bad , also admitted they sent an inexperienced worker around to do the job and tried to offer a half price clean after being rude on the phone . Next step is taking this unprofessional company to court . Will never use Electrodry again .
Very happy with cleaning service, but buyer beware - the call centre is overseas where they don't listen and just read from a prepared script! Price quoted was incorrect even though I let them know twice that I wasn't having 4 rooms cleaned, just 2. Thank goodness the carpet cleaning guy was so understanding. Apparently not an uncommon problem. Pretty tacky!
