I have had good reports about the work Elegant Alternatives do so took my wedding dress to be dry cleaned and boxed there. Unfortunately my experience of their customer service was not good. When it was ready she rang me up and was strangely abrupt, and rang me up an hour later asking if I could come in that night. I went in a week later because I don't drive and it was hard to get a lift there, and waited ten minutes with no one in the store. I rang the phone and heard her come in from the back finally to serve me, and she took a long time fumbling with everything and barely saying a word. She didn't seem mean or offended, just like I was an inconvenience.
What a lovely place to shop. They provided professional courteous advise, assisted where needed and left us to make up our minds. They even provided me with details of where an interstate bridesmaid could get the same dress in Victoria.
These lovely women were a pleasure to deal with, old fashioned customer service at its best. Could not fault the service, professionalism and range. A pleasure.
It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Elegant Alternatives. We had a bit of a "bridesmaid" crisis a few months prior to our wedding, and they were wonderfully helpful and got everything sorted in a matter of days. Really couldn't fault the service - or the dresses! :)
