Elegant Dry Cleaning Prahran

I’ve recently moved to Prahran for work. My colleague recommended me to dry clean my work clothes here since….I do not have time to dry clean my shirts on my own. Honestly, I think this is the best dry-cleaning store I’ve ever been to. The staff are very accommodating and accountable, and friendly. When it comes to the value for money, you just can’t go wrong with this store.

I unfortunately attempted to get a dress, only worn once to be dry cleaned. Upon inspection of the dress it had two seperate stains remaining on it. I took it back to ask for it to be redone, only to be guilted into the dress having a "deluxe clean" to try and remove the stains 3 times, although I only paid for a basic clean ($25 for one short dress). I politely asked about the money back garauntee etched into the front window, which was denied. I was disappointed that I was not made aware of the remaining stains prior to pick up and was unable to get any assistance in the matter. I will not be returning to elegant dry cleaners.

Elegant Dry Cleaning are life savers! FIVE STARS! I first contacted them when i dropped nail polish on a brand new dress, whilst all other dry cleaners refused to help me as it was all 'too hard' Elegant Dry Cleaning took the time to review the damage with me and actually got out the stain without damaging the dress! They also came to the rescue with my wedding dress which was quite delicate - although i was nervous i was confident that Elegant Dry Cleaning would be able to take all the stains out..and of course they did! They dry cleaned my beautiful dress to perfection along with my husbands suit with no problems and no damage to any one of the garments. Each time i use Elegant Dry Cleaning they always deliver any NEVER have anyone of my delicate items been ruined or lost! The service they offer is TOP CLASS and i love their SMS alerts! I will definitely recommend them to anyone!

These guys are the best in town. When I first moved to Melbourne, I struggled to find someone who actually took care of my clothes. I've now been a customer of Elegant for 7 years and always been happy. Recently I ruined one of my favourite t-shirts at home. I sheepishly took it in and to my relief they did some magic and fixed it. Thanks elegant for a great job, again!

I DO NOT recommend you send your clothes with this company. Not only did they temporarily loose part of my wedding dress (the strap - how do you loose part of a dress!!) but when I returned to collect it they didn't have the decency to apologise for the situation they created or the inconvenience in returning to the shop! Furthermore (yes it gets worse) but during the process the dress was slightly damaged and when I mentioned this to them they couldn't care less. They instead chose to argue with me about it (in front of their other customers) - clearly a reflection of their poor customer service skills. If they had only apologised for the inconvenience in loosing part of my dress and offered a minimal amount to helping with the repairs I would not be writing this review. The whole experience was like a bad hollywood movie about a wedding dress that is damaged by a drycleaner!
