We have used Ellegant Pooches for several years every fortnight and the girls do a fantastic job every time. If we have had to reschedule or miss an appointment, it hasn't been an issue with an hour or two's notice at the latest.
We drop off our little dude for a wash or a clip, go do some shopping or grab some lunch for a couple of hours and go grab him when he's respectable again. Too easy!
He smells great and he's got a spring in his step after going to see "the girls". In fact the mere mention of "the girls" gets him spinning like a top.

I made an appointment for 2 dogs. Something came up so had to reschedule. So they say yes but I will have to charge you a cancellation fee, I was courteous enough to call and inform them, however Point number one- I'm rescheduling not cancelling. Two: just how were they going to charge me any fee at all without my details? Three: never mentioned about a cancellation fee initially. They have no website with terms conditions. They thought they could take advantage by squeezing in a fee to the booking, for being greedy they lost a customer, they could have made a lot of money out of, since I do have 2 dogs. Be warned, as there may be a "cancellation fee"
You haven't stated how long before your appointment you cancelled and wanted to reschedule. My guess is that you called when you where due to be there and couldn't be bothered to give them a call until the last minute. Unfortunately small business have to put up with people who go on a power trip to put down a good local company over $5. We have dealt with Ellegant Pooches for several years and never had any issue with them in any way and we see them every two weeks. They have always been friendly but professional and we have recommended them to our friends and have never had an issue. Get behind local business.
