The Elephant and Wheelbarrow is a British style pub in Northbridge. With its mock Tudor façade and cosy wooden interior, you will feel like that you have been transported to a quaint village pub. Local and imported beers are on tap, but if you are a fan of the Irish, this establishment is renowned for its Guinness and moreover the manner in which it is poured. Sit back with a beer or non-alcoholic beverage and watch the sport on one of the many plasma screens. If you are hungry, traditional pub fare is also served for lunch and dinner, with a children's menu available.

While I'm not a huge fan of English pubs, they still have some charm about them, and this one was no exception. What I really liked about it was the old-style English building in which it was located, which appeared to have been purposely built. The problem was that they didn't have a selection of English beers (even if it were only Stella and Fosters). It was quite a nice place though, with a lovely outdoor area as well. While not a favourite, I wouldn't be all that averse to visiting it again.
