Thanks to the team at Elexa for saving us over easter, we had a burst pipe in our roof which brought our ceiling down. James came out on Sunday morning little over an hour after calling. It was a quick and easy repair to get our water back on at a very resonable cost.
He charged me $200 for on-call fee when I denied his quote for replacing a new hot water system, which is $1200 higher than the other company.
It seems like he was trying to take advantage of my urgent need for hot water and unfairly charge me more than what the market price is.
Dan im sorry your upset that we wouldn’t install a second hand hot water system or tell you where you could get parts to fix yourself. Electrical storage systems can be dangerous and theres risk of fire, electrocution or explosion and we would NEVER encourage some one to repair/replace diy. I sincerely hope you dont injure yourself or your family in the process.
