After 12 years of using Elgas for residential gas supply, we finally got sick of it. For 3 successive years they had managed to leave us without gas in winter. I understand that there were some extenuating services with a truck crash etc, but enough is enough.
The final straw was this year, when they decided (again, in the middle of winter) and several years after changes to standards/legislation that our installation was no longer safe for tanker-fill. We changed to bottle-swap as they suggested and they promptly missed the first 2 deliveries.
Ignore all the bells and whistles with SMS notifications etc. Find someone who will deliver gas when you need it.
