Eliana Hirakis - Psychologist
Eliana is a psychologist in the clinical area. She specialises in treatment of adolescents. She also specialises in couples therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy for Borderline PEliana has worked with individuals in the area of consultation liaison psychiatry, adult mental health and in the alcohol and drug field. She is experienced with treating depression, anxiety, relationship problems, schizophrenia, trauma, eating disorders and addictions for child, adolescent, adult and older adult populations. Eliana has an interest in child and adolescent psychology and couples therapy.
She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is President of the Australian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Queensland (AACBT QLD). She is also an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Clinical College. Eliana has delivered workshops about CBT and mindfulness, and she is currently completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University.
