Elixir Cafe

I was really disappointed with this cafe. The staff weren't helpful and the food was poor quality. Guest were left to clear the tables they chose to sit at. I ordered a coffee (was served warm) and the rhubarb apple slice (served a burnt piece). I asked for a different piece of slice and the waitress returned with what looked very suspiciously like the same piece with a bit cut from the side and the same burnt base. Unfortunately the lack of service and poor quality food didn't transfer to low prices. Save your money for the great antiques and do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.

Very good little cafe, in amoungst the massive antiques complex, opposite Tyabb railway station. After a interesting morning of antique exploring, it was great to be able to sit down and enjoy a very good meal and coffee. The prices were also a very good surprise.
