Ella Express Ella Bache

Made a booking online for 11/8 on the 7/8. When the confirmation came through it was for November. Immediatly emailed and was confirmed back 11am on the 11th.
Recieved a sms confirmation Friday 10/8 and approx 20 or so minutes later a phone call to say that she didnt know why it was made at that time because there is no waxer avail. She attempted to move my time to 1120 which i said couldnt because i have another appointment... then 950 which i also refused. I suggested cancelling at that stage and was told no no i will make some calls and get back to you. No calls recieved however a further confirmation text of 11am was sent and actioned.
Arrived at the salon at 1055 and was seated. At 11am Trish came over to say shes running late...have you got 20 minutes. I' Ve had SLE Lupus since I was 21 which I believe was caused through a sunbed. I used it once! It took till I was 28 to get a diagnosis on my condition. I couldn't hang out washing after 7am because of the allergy to UV RAYS. I'm now 57 and yesterday prior going for a walk (need to lose weight lol) Id run out of Ella Bache Sunblock which I've used for 15 years plus and used a different brand, major mistake! I had a flare up that was so bad my face was bright red and was burning. I went to Ella Bache Joondalup today with bright red skin to buy their sunblock and I met the Manager. She mentioned an oil that might help. I said I was scared to try anything and she understood but mentioned the Creme Intex and she was not pushy at all. I was negative cause I was scared, I thought about it for a minute, talked to her and she gave me samples. I got home and needed relief from the heat and applied it to her instructions. I was short on time so rather than going all the way to my normal place in Fremantle I decided to try out my local Ella Bache for a Brazilian wax.



Although the staff was lovely, it took well over 40 minutes (oh, the irony) and the end result was pretty poor- staff missed the back and most of the actual lips. Essentially, just the front was done. At the end of the wax staff did ask me to check and make sure everything was okay, but after lying in a pool of my own sweat with my legs spread for 40+ minutes, I decided to just cut my losses ($64) and just get out of there. I ended up having to try to wax those hard to reach areas myself, which just defeats the purpose.

Had a brazillian wax here as I cudnt get in to my regular salon. Was the most painful brazillian I've ever had. I almost made the girl stop. Very impersonal, no hello. Only comment she made was about a few ingrowns I had. Would never go back no matter now desperate

I knew I wanted a facial that would leave my skin glowing as I have been a bit tired and dull lately. I went in and told the staff exactly what I wanted and recommended the best one for me. I got an appointment then & there which was great.

The facial was pretty good and lasted an hour.
