Ellis Electrical Appliances

Purchased a milk frother on eBay, received a call the day after the expected delivery date of it to arrive(after ordered over two weeks ago), to be told that it actually was not in stock. Unsure why the stock count was not updated accurately on their site or why it was misleadingly advertised as available. The purchase was made in time for Christmas. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction I was told ‘oh well we will refund’. Not good enough for false advertising and horrible customer service. I would have bought the frothed elsewhere and had enough time for it to arrive by Christmas! I would not trust this company.

Ordered from website on Sunday. Paid with paypal, but didn't receive any confirmation from Ellis Electrical that order had been received. Also didn't receive any notification that item had been shipped. Contacted them after a week and was advised it had been shipped on the Tuesday. Finally arrived the next Tuesday. Paid $7.95 shipping. Arrived with $2 worth of stamps. Very poor service.

They said it would take 2 weeks to fix my coffee machine and it has taken 1 month. They are still 'waiting on parts'.
Their customer service is lacking as well as their friendliness.

I bought a part online from Ellis Electrical (strangely, their website is not listed with their ad on this site, although it's definitely the same company - www.elliselectricals.com.au). Their website is easy to use and as I was sourcing a specific part for my Sunbeam product the clear photos and specific product number helped me quickly find exactly what I was after. The price was very reasonable, as was postage and delivery was super quick - I ordered on Monday, and received my item carefully wrapped on Wednesday.
